MinMathi is a free Android app developed by TNCDW, which stands for Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women. It is a comprehensive hub that modernizes the way Self-Help Groups (SHGs) evolve and operate. With MinMathi, SHG women are empowered through digital, financial, and social inclusion.
The app brings technology within easy reach of the SHG women, opening up newer opportunities for aspiring women by connecting them to mentors, fellow SHGs across the country, as well as potential buyers of their products. MinMathi also actively involves banks and other microfinance institutions to participate in the portal and streamline the verification and disbursal process with improved candidate accountability thanks to the e-learning course structure. MinMathi Money allows for an eBanking approach to money management, which allows women to freely transact within the MinMathi ecosystem. Additionally, MinMathi aims to create a connected ecosystem that enables SHGs to thrive. Aspiring women can connect with other SHGs across the country, mentors/experts across the globe, and tune in to live channels to have their queries and concerns answered.
